Multi-System Networking Services was formed to represent my availability to contribute to a lost art: namely customer service, a genuine concern in making a difference - not just an income. My contribution of experience spans several companies, several disciplines, a work ethic, and plain "common sense". It also is applies to volunteering with a few non-profits to help keep their Information Technology expenses down.
I am a veteran of over 35 years with IBM, starting in the early years as a "Customer Engineer" (nicely named repair-person), becoming a software support person, spending quite a few years as an educator, as a product "expert", going back into the field as a communications technical marketing "Systems Engineer", and as IBM emerged as the Contract Services giant it is today - I performed in contracted consulting and implementation, as well as architecting solutions that span many types of computer systems ("platforms").
This blog will allow clients and interested others to get assistance and good reference information, which will build and mature over time. It will also have content showing that it is not always necessary to know a specific software or hardware to resolve an issue. Knowing where to look up information, and a logical approach to inquiring from those who use the products (in the manner of a "detective") can bring a resolution.
Thank you for visiting.
